UNIVERSAL RITE-TEMPERATURE PRESSURE BALANCING VALVE

The Pressure-balancing diaphragm technology within this valve maintains the outlet temperature within +/- 3 degrees Fahrenheit during water pressure fluctuations. The valve has a maximum flow rate of 5.0 gpm (18.9 l/min) at 45 psi. It also features an adjustable high temperature limit stop to control the maximum water temperature.

Pressure-Balancing Valve Body and Cartridge Kit: The shower system valve body kit comes with 1/2" universal NPT and direct sweat inlets and outlets, providing a 5 GPM (18.9 LPM) maximum flow rate at 45 psi. The kit includes the valve body, pressure balance cartridge, rough-in guide, and mud guard. It has a 1.0 gpm (3.8 lpm) maximum flow rate at 60 psi (4.14 bar).

Single Lever Valve Kit for Shower Faucet Set: The single lever design of this kit provides temperature regulation and anti-scald protection, allowing for cycling from off through cold to hot. It features an adjustable high temperature limit stop to control the maximum water temperature from your showerhead, tub spout, or shower wand.

Easy Install Brass Shower Valve: The shower valve body is made from forged dezincification resistant brass, ensuring long-term reliability and resistance to aggressive water conditions. The reversible cartridge design with symmetrical valve inlets simplifies standard, back-to-back, or thin wall installation.

Additional Hardware for Installation and Use: The shower faucet valve body requires a valve shower trim kit (sold separately) to complete the installation. Customers are advised to choose a Kohler shower trim kit to complement their shower valve.

ASME and ASSE Shower Valve Body Kit: The KOHLER shower heads and shower system valve kits are ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 and ASSE 1016/ASME A112.1016/CSA B125.16 compliant, ensuring they meet the required industry standards.
